Louis David Albright has over 25 years of experience in the Intellectual Property field and specializes in Validity, Infringement and Novelty Searches.
Mr. Albright is the son of RADM Penrose Lucas Albright of the firm Mason Mason & Albright, a well known Patent Firm which had been in existence since the Civil War, and which only recently ended legal services with the death of Penrose Albright in November of 2007. While studying at the George Washington University in Washington, DC, Mr. Albright learned the Intellectual Property business by working as a paralegal for Mason Mason & Albright under the tutelage of his father, the senior partner. In 1980, he took a Patent & Trademark search position with Pravel, Gambrell, Hewitt, Kimball & Krieger of Houston, TX in their Washington DC Office.
In 1981 he left the firm and started his first IP company, Albright & Associates, soon to become Albright & Associates Ltd., a prestigious IP services company that would be a major player in the field for over 15 years. By creating his new company, Albright IP, Mr. Albright is seeking to consolidate his experience and personal resources while extending his company's professional presence even further within the exploding IP industry.
